The Ruach Haqodesh impress this upon my heart to talk about the Aviv Barley -many has this name aviv connected to the name of the month but it is not. What this is, is the process that the seed will have go through so to meet the standards of divine order. Same with man for us to access the promise of Eloah we first have to go through some what of a process and then we will be qualify to activate. Outside of Eloah we will be totally be debar from approaching his presence.

Now let me list the 7 stages of the barley from a Jewish mindset - modern agricultural system uses different terminology but am using the Hebrew legislation. The cereal grasses is thought to pass through the following growth stages:

1. Vegetative (growth) stage;

2. Budding and Flowing (cotton) stage

3. Seed pod formation stage

4. Milk stage

5. Soft Dough (Aviv) stage

6. Hard Dough (Carmel) stage

7. Ancient ripe

Barley forms a seed pod after it has flower which is fills with a milky fluid and it slowly becomes harder to the point of being solid rather than liquid. Once the content of the seed pod gain enough to look like soft dough know for certain it has reach the status of being in the ear.The soft dough status still need at lease two more weeks to be fully mature for long term storage or a weave sheaf offering. According to these scriptures (Wayyiqra23:14;  2:14; Yahoshua 5:11; !Shemu'el 17:17; 25:18  tells us that avivi can be used for a first fruit offering but it is used after it has pass through the fire to extract the moisture from the immature grain.
